The Willingdon Home and School Committee has been mandated by the school’s governing board to oversee and execute all fundraising activities. It is a very active committee and invites all parents to become involved, even by volunteering a couple of hours at a single event during the year (daytime and evening hours are available). Home and School works tirelessly to offer the students and families enrichment through various extra-curricular activities and events (from Corn Roast to Fun Fair and beyond!), as well as opportunities to give back to the community. Meetings take place 6 times per year on weeknights, and all parents are invited to join us to see what Home & School is all about. Get Involved!
Home & School is directed by an executive: Co-Chairs, Treasurer, Secretary, and Communications Officer, who are elected for a two-year term. We also need coordinators to organize events, as well as volunteers.
We need you!
Many hands make light work. Even an hour or two here and there makes a huge difference to our success.Meetings occur about six times a year and all parents are welcome to attend at any time! Lots more info about volunteer opportunities will be available later in September.
